| SELF-GUIDED WALKING TOURS |
The great thing about these tours is that you can do them when you like, you can go at your own pace taking as much time as you like - and there is no charge.
Make sure that you ask the staff for directions. We recommend you wear long pants and good walking shoes. When going in the afternoon allow enough time so that you come back during daylight hours. It is not fun trying to find your way back in the dark. |
The Pyramid Hike
Enjoy spectacular views at the top of the pyramid. See photo (right).
This walk takes around 35 minutes to get to the top of the pyramid. It's a great work-out for the legs as the path is steep!
We call it the pyramid because of its shape, not because it is a Mayan temple. |
